Dimension of Understanding Exemplar: Social Studies
A team of 5th grade teachers at Inter-Disciplinary Downtown School (IDDS) and a partnering artist from Red Eye Theater went through this Dimensions of Understanding exercise at the ASAP Spring Workshop in order to deepen the work they have been doing together. They wanted to find out what things they were missing and how to better connect their artist partnership work and the fifth grade social studies curriculum.
