Minnesota Arts Education Network
The Minnesota Arts Education Network is an initiative funded by the McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota State Legislature. It seeks to build a strong, statewide network of individuals, schools and community arts resources that develops and disseminates arts-based teaching and learning through a number of different approaches and programs.

Central components of the Minnesota Arts Education Network include:
•    Arts and Schools as Partners (ASAP)  – teams of teachers and artists working statewide to improve their teaching practice
•    Quality Teaching Network (QTN) – teachers and arts specialists working statewide to forge meaning and deeper understanding of the Minnesota State Arts Standards; developed the Critical Links inquiry process under the auspices of the Arts Education Partnership
•    A Minnesota Retreat for the Arts – an annual statewide professional development conference for teachers and teaching artists
•    Artful Online – technology-based outreach and dissemination of professional development in and through the arts
