What is Artful?

Artful is a process
It is a versatile mix of practical tools and strategies for creating arts-based and arts-integrated learning. Artful supports research-based, high quality professional development for teachers and artists who want to help all of their students achieve to high standards in and through the arts.

Who currently uses Artful?
Artful currently informs the practice of several arts education programs in Minnesota and the upper Midwest. These programs work with entire schools, teams of teachers and artists within a school, groups of teaching artists, and individual teachers and artists.

Different programs use Artful tools and strategies to provide incremental, customized learning opportunities for artists, teachers, and students who come to arts education with different needs, perspectives, and experiences.
